But there is something undeniably special about shooting at the beach too.
Here at Balmoral Beach, with Jen’s family, we were treated to wild winds,
warm sun rays & the scent of fresh salt water.
Waterfronts rejuvinate and inspire.
They bring out our inner child by igniting memories of sand between our toes,
and ice-cream streaming down our hands.
As a location for Photography, beach and river side spots seem to feed your kids a reason
not to care about the camera in front of them.
As seen here in these gorgeous images of Jen’s babies, there is just way too much fun to be
had with the sand and sea to worry about”saying cheese”. And I adore that seamless transition
during our sessions from family portraits to “play-time” documentary imagery.
I have so much love for this family – they are endlessly fun and it never feels like work to photograph them.
Their last shoot at Rouse Hill, which can be found here, had me both grinning and in tears.
The bond of this family is water tight.
